Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

This is an image I've wanted to create for a while. So, for Halloween 2022, I felt time was ripe. The Headless Horseman is a ghost of folklore that can be found in many parts of Europe and America. Usually, the specter is carrying his head in the saddle, but the most famous version is that of Sleep Hollow, made popular by the short story "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" by Washington Irving. This version of the Headless Horseman carries a jack-o-lantern (or maybe a pumpkin). The reason for this is that the story heavily implies that the horseman of the story is the character Brom Bones in costume, who is running his run his rival for the affections of a woman, Ichabod Crane, out of town. Brom is using the jack-o-lant...
Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations. His works have appeared in magazines and newspapers; the covers of books, albums, and products; and even in a few science and natural history museums.
